Chilled Lemon Julip

1 crushed Ice
125 ml freshly squeezed Lemon juice
12 Mint
300 grams caster Sugar
250 ml Vodka

Boil 300ml of water in a small saucepan with the sugar, Stirring frquently to disolve the sugar.
When Boiling, add the mintleaves and take saucepan off the heat, leave to cool.
Meanwhile mix lemon juice with vodka.
When the water, sugar and mint is room temp, mix with vodka.
Serve over crushed ice in martini glass, and garnish with slice of lemon and a mint leave.
